I live in Andover NH, one of the six towns in Merrimack County, District Six, and will be a senior at Proctor Academy this September. I have been interested in politics and public service since eighth grade, when I did a "politics" mastery graduation project. Since then, I have continued my interest through interning with the government relations group of the American Red Cross in Washington D.C., attending a US Politics summer program at Brown University, helping the Paul Hodes campaign in '06, canvassing for Barack Obama this past winter, and learning as much as I can about local, national and global government and issues. Now that I am eighteen, legally I can do more, and instead of just supporting good candidates for public office, I hope I can be a good candidate for public office.
